Uni Professor Mouths Off

As I mentioned in a previous article (“Juan Williams – They Screwed Up!”) the reason for dismissing Williams was puerile and suggested NPR cohorts had a deeper agenda.

Kaukad Siddique made remarks that seem to have passed under the censorship radar. Siddique is a Pakistani, works as professor of English at Lincoln University, Pennsylvania. At a Washington rally this week he made what ordinary, intelligent people would consider to be inflammatory remarks even Ahmadinejadistic.

“We must stand united to defeat, to destroy, to dismantile Israel – if possible by peaceful means,” he said. “Perhaps, like Saladin, we will give them enough food and water to travel back to the lands from where they came to occupy other people,’ he went on. He then called on Muslims to ‘unite and rise up against this hydra-headed monster which calls itself Zionism.”

Professor Siddique defended his speech when challenged. “I got a little fired and said a few things that were pretty strong,” he said. “But this doen’t mean I wouldn’t say them again.” Which sums up his sensitivity to others. The professor has taught at the university since 1985. One wonders how many impressionable students have followed in his footsteps.

Two Democrat Pennsylvania senators, Daylin Leach and Anthony Hardy Williams joined a public protest this week. They called on the faculty at State-funded universities to make sure ideologies of this nature do not make it to the classrooms.

“We support academic freedom and certainly a professor has the right to criticize Israel, or any other entity or policy he wishes,” they wrote. “However . . . the Holocaust is not a theory or opinion. It is historically documented fact, denied only by those with a hateful or anti-Semitic agenda.”

So America universities will embrace a politically incorrect professor, even if he shares the same vicious, hateful opinions as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (Iran)

I understand the First Amendment of the American Constitution is meant to make free speech an integral part of an open democracy. However, the people who run the wealthiest nation on earth must start to draw the line between out and out incitement compared to open, healthy debate.

A raging storm is heading across the U.S.A. The people have been conned by a well-oiled political machine. But the surge is coming.

Abraham Lincoln summed it up when he said: “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.

As a leader Solomon prayed, “Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people, for who can rule this great people of Yours?” (2 Chronicles 1:10)

My advice to the voters in America is simple. Look for the candidates who kneel rather than stand.

“God bless America’ needs to be sung with much more passion than has been the case in recent times. Genesis 12: 3 is the basis of His blessing and that’s a fact!!!!!
